As per the Mount Vernon Presbyterian School Confidentiality Policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), when a student reaches the age of 18 the rights granted to the parent(s)/legal guardian(s), with regard to the student’s education record, transfer to the student.students to whom the rights have transferred are “eligible students” (18 years of age or older). These rights include the information contained in the School Directory. The Confidentiality Policy in its entirety is contained in the Handbook for Parents and Students.
