The praise band is designed to equip students to lead worship on a regular basis. Our goal is for the band to lead worship at each school Chapel, and other school and community opportunities, as invited. This extracurricular activity requires some prior playing/singing experience, and each student will be required to audition to be part of the group. Young musicians who are not quite ready to play in front of a crowd may be chosen as alternates and may be part of the group as they develop their playing ability. The band may include guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, percussion, horns, singers, and light/sound techs. Empowering Christian musicians to become worship leaders is the goal for the Middle and Upper School praise band.
