All Middle and Upper School students are required to purchase text books, which are available through the school.

Tuition includes the lunch program for Lower, Middle and Upper School students, cultural art activities, a Yearbook for each student and Parents' Association dues for all grade levels. All Mount Vernon families are members of the Parents' Association. The dues help to support programs offered throughout the year for our students and families.

Mount Vernon offers a Tuition Refund Plan. Contact the Business Office at 404-252-3448 x2225 for more information.

FINANCIAL AID

Mount Vernon Presbyterian School offers financial aid based solely on need. The school subscribes to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) which requires all interested families to submit specific financial information to determine eligibility. Information and applications are available through the Admissions Office.

For consideration for the 2008-09 school year, you must:

  1. Submit all requested forms and applications to SSS by February 1, 2008.
  2. Submit a copy of your last two years' Federal Income Tax Returns, including Schedules, to the Business Office by February 15, 2008.
Final determination of financial aid dollars rests with the School and is subject to the availability of funds and number of financial aid applicants. Notification of award is sent when applicant is offered an opportunity to enroll.
