Our guidance counselor offers the expertise, experience, and empathy that many experts consider one-third of a student’s needs. Guidance forms an integral part of every student’s life at Mount Vernon. The counselor and student build a continuing, supportive relationship during these years of dynamic growth. Our counselor also works with the College Admissions Counselor to ensure that the PSAT, ACT, and SAT tests are taken at the proper times. Our counselor organizes conferences and communication between the parents and teachers whenever it is needed.
